Happy Aloha Friday! And Happy Poetry Friday! I’m going to keep this post short and sweet.
All around the internet people are sharing poetry–poems they’ve written or poems written by others (with proper credits, of course). A good explanation for Poetry Friday may be found here.
In the spirit of keeping things simple, I’d like to share part of a poem–a quote, actually–by Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī, or more commonly known as Rumi. I recently shared it on Facebook along with the above image and discovered that many others enjoyed the combination of words and image, as well. Isn’t it amazing that so much can be said just in a sentence or two?
You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean, in a drop. ~Rumi
